[HELP] I need new internet.

I'm currently subscribed to Comcast, as much as I love their service and speed, I can't keep affording it.

DSL is not available in my area, and wireless DSL is just as expensive as Comcast, are there any other viable alternatives around $30? TIA.

I live in Lake Villa, IL.

Any possibility of other packages? My charter package is up in March but due to my current unemployment I'll be going to charter and making changes. With cable they quoted me $25 for 1000/256. Not too shabby.

As far as I know, you can't get a cheaper package -- $43 is the base package.

Keep praying SBC gets DSL there soon, Their $26 plan is pretty decent, 1.5Mbps for $26.

we have sprint DSL here for $25/month but it's only 512kbps. 🙁
