my cpu at idle is about 45c, but when running it gets to like 65c. i am thinking about getting a koolance case w/watercoolilng. is there any other cases that would suit my needs. i dont want to spend over 300. the koolance is 179+35. btw, i dont o/c either, i just want a kool pc. how hard is it to install watercooling? thanks in advance

Have ya even considered trying a different HS fan setup...or maybe a roomier case with more fans....just seems like watercooling is a bit extreme for your setup...not tryin to rip, just that watercooling is pretty much for the hardcore overclocker, and since you stated your not o/c'ing...............
Case options are out there.....Antec case are pretty good, plenty of room to work with, good air-flow, and you can fill with plenty of fans.
or if ya want something cool, check out the aluminum cases...Lian-Li among others.

A heatsink is a good start like an Alpha8942 HS and a good CPU fan and Artic Silver 3.A good case with with 3-4 case fans is a good idea too.I am looking at getting an Antec 1080B case that comes with an Antec True 430 watt power supply with the dual fans to improve cooling. You can get one at newegg for $135.It also has a fan on the side door,2 outtake fans in the back.I don't believe you get a case fan for the bottom front. It might be a good idea to get one for it.Lian-Li cases are excellent but expensive and you get no power supplyTake a look at the Antec here.

I have the Blizzard 360 case. I really like it, and it keep cool..

My athlons get up to 52 C at full load. At idle they are down to 35.

I'm not running that fast of cpu fans.

It's your call though.. I'm happy with my setup. I just wanna get the round cables next to help get some more flow in the case...
