Help I Killed the Internet

I messed around with Network Setup Wizard yesterday and I shouldn't have. I have a Linksys WRT54GS and their is a PCI Adapter in my sisters computer. The Linksys program on her computer says it has access to the Access Point but canot find the Internet. I think I blocked it on my host computer somehow and can't figure out how to reverse it. Confused as to why the connection is there but it just won't let her use the internet. Please help.

I am assuming that she is a wireless client to an Accesspoint or AP/Router and the OS is windows XP

1. make sure you know whether WEP encryption is on or off on the ACCESS POINT. If it is on, make sure the correct key is entered onto her PC and "shared key authentication" is disabled.
2. Go into control panel---->network connection>your connection. double-click on the connection and go to the support tab

a. address type: shoud say automatic or DHCP. IF the IP address it gives is starts with 169 --->169.xxx.xxx.xxx then click "repair"

if not, than go to the general tab and click properties. Select TCP/IP, click properties, and make sure both IP and DNS IP's are set to "automatically...."

Also, can you use the internet from your PC?

If so, try to mirror your own PC's settings except end the IP address differently

ie.

your PC

192.168.0.2

192.168.0.3
