HELP!!! I have been hacked!!!

I checked my statements for a checking account I don't use that often and noticed that in February and March I had unauthorized charges made on my account!

I don't check the account that often and since I was at school, the statements built up! The charges were from MSBill.com and NETFL.

I called the companies, one has an invalid number message, the other said it was too old to do anything about it. I called Visa and they said contact my bank!

But my statements are over 60 days old and I don't know what to do!!!

I lost like $70.00!

I don't know what to do!!!

Well, you should always check your statements.

Did you actually call your bank? If it's a Visa Check Card, then Visa won't help. Call your bank and see what you can do. Have the card cancelled and then move on.

I recently got hit for $300 on my check card. Caught it the day after the transactions were posted. Call your bank to see what they can do. File a fraud report with them and cancel the card. There may be time constraints on what can and can not be done.

Well I was at college! I should say that and not school!

Man... I just checked all my other statements and they seem ok! The only time I ever used that card was at the Interplay web store for a game purchase and at Spiegel to buy a radio.

i adh that happena few times., I just called up and had them reverse, but you have only a 60 day window. If your bank offers you the option to check online, then I suggest you do it.

I had charges of $2500+ billed to one of my cards in a three day span. Thankfully Chase is on the ball and caught the charges before any went through. They called me and notified me of suspicious activity. Whew.
