HELP!!! I did some OCing today, but when I changed it back to stock...

When I changed the frequency back to stock and ran 3DMark2001 SE, a Windows XP BSOD came up, and restarted my computer. I have ran 3DMark before at stock, but I didn't get any problems. I changed everything back including Voltage, Mult, FSB, but it gives me a BSOD. I am running Prime95 now, and it hasn't given me errors yet.

It sounds like something became corrupted when you had it overclocked... the corruption could have been in a file that 3dmark uses, or could be in the XP registry.

The first thing that I would recommend you do is un-install and re-install 3DMARK2001 and see if it still occurs.

Next, you can try to do a system restore to a previous saved registry and also reload all of your audio and video drivers.

If that still fails then you are more than likely looking at a total reload of the box.

Always back your stuff up before doing O/C experiments!

Sometimes you just need to re-enter the bios and save it again. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it, it is pretty common to BSOD after you tried pushing your system and then setting it back. Usually for me, it just takes one more reboot bringing up the XP Safe Mode vs. Normal Start Up menu, I start normal and then it is fine.

You should post some specs though if you want more help.
