Just like I said, I can't find the MSDOS prompt in my program files of my computer. I have it on my other two computers, but not on this one. Anyone know how to install it or anything that might help? Th comp is a PIII500 from DELL with 98SE that I inststalled from .CAB files.

Thanks,
D

Thanks,

I was actually hoping to open the Dos prompt window. The command.com opens a full screen. Does anyone know how to install it back into windows? Mine is obviouasly missing. Thanks.

As Always,
D

Make a shortcut to command.com in |Start|Programs.
Rename it whatever you like - even MS-DOS.
It will come up in the state it was last exited. So,
if you want it windowed, use Alt-Enter to change its
state.

1.hit alt+enter from the full screen

2.make a short cut to command.com

3.find dosprompt.pif (or is it dosprmpt or something silly)

all "dosprompt" is is a shortcut to command.com

alt+enter allows you to switch back and forth from full screen to window
