Anyone know of a good source for good sound effects to use for email/text/voicemail alerts and whatnot (I'm on a Droid X)? Songs with lyrics, farts, airhorns, and stupid "You have a text!" and all the variations of that are not good sound effects. I'm just looking for nice chimes or anything else that's simple, short, to the point, and doesn't make you look like a 14 year old.
 
I use "Ta Da" as a notification sound
I use "Bell Phone" as a ring tone because it you know sounds like an actual fucking phone

thats my email alert haha

i use a klaxon horn for text messages, or a bit from an old slim jim commercial that says "eat me!"

i usually troll the zedge.net for them, takes some sifting to get decent ones.

That's all of the wallpapers and ringtones included with the Nexus One. Add those to whatever came with your phone and you'll probably be quite happy. I too hate all the crappy tones you see on your typical ringtone sites. On top of that, it's rare to find wallpapers that look good, are the proper resolution (960x854 is what you need for most Droids, 960x800 for other high-res Android phones), and aren't filled with JPG artifacts.
