Help! I bit my tongue!

Anybody know what the sores on your tongue after you accidently bite your tongue are called? I thought they were "exploding" taste buds, but that doesn't sound right. I have one right now and it is EXTREMELY annoying.

Also, What can I do to get rid of it?

Amputate your tongue and you will not have this problem again.
