hELP! I am stuck in hell

I just couldn't passed the boss in the arena. I fired like 50 rockets, used all my ammo and he still wont die. How can I kill it?

That's not even the boss yet

[whisper]destroy the seekers and the guardian will be vulnerable[/whisper]

Once you destroy the seekers, attack the bulby thing on its head that spawns more seekers. It'll take only a few rocket and BFG rounds to take it down.

BFG? where can I get that? I only had rockets, plasma gun, and chaingun.

You'll need to skirt around the portal and climb up to a hidden place behind the portal to find the BFG

I found the BFG. Tried several times last night and no success. Guss I didn't time it right. I'll try again tonight to kill that bull.

Er somebody beat me to the response... but yes, kill the seekers, then destroy the blue gate or whatever that the seekers come out of. It only takes a few rockets to do it.
