Sometime I feel like saying that aloud.

So, I am 5'8" tall. 29yrs old..weighing in at 242 lbs. I know how I got this way, but sure don't care to continue along this path. Looking for advice on what to eat and how to exercise. I am pretty sedentary as it is. We have a very full home gym and I think I have maybe used it 50 times in 3 years. It consists of Home Gym, Elliptical, Dumbells of every weight, Curl bar, straight bar, hyperextension.

I was going to seek out a nutritionist for help, but if you feel as though you have the expertise to help me construct a diet fitness routine. Please PM me! Your services will be rewarded.

Look at the sticky please.

Cliffs:
- Buy Starting Strength (book) and do that routine or Stronglifts.com 5x5 - both are barbell compound lift rountines
- Do HIIT (intensity intervals) based training on off days if you want, you can do sprints, use elliptical, rowing etc
- Consult nutritionist or read the tons of free info already posted here
