Any ideas?

I can't seem to get this out, or any of the other case fans for that matter. I can't even get the front fan grill to move after takin the covers off.

Would really appreciate help with this regard (these default case fans are LOUD).

Here's a photo showing how the filter-cover panel is attached: link To remove it, just pull upwards very firmly so those metal "fingers" disengage.

The fans are held in place with two-part plastic rivets. To get them to let go, pull up on the head of the inner half of the rivet, which slides into the other half. Use your thumbnail or a small screwdriver blade or something (don't scratch your case, though! :Q). Alternately, reach up from underneath and push the end of the inner half upwards from below.

I also recommend removing the stamped-aluminum inner fan grilles, which increase noise and reduce airflow. Hope that helps! :)

Thanks mech, I"m replacing those adda fans with panaflo L1s.

Now if only I can figure out how to get the top fan (or panel) out.

Well, the top fan should be held in place with four of those same plastic two-part rivets as the rest, so just pry upwards on the heads of the inner pieces and remove them, and the rivets will let go of the top fan. :)

Thanks a ton guys, got everything out except for the top case fan. Looks like I"m gonna have to disassemble to get to it, ah fun :)
