Stop bumping. The answer to your question can be found through a search in this forum, by posting in the right forum, by searching google, or by reading the manual for any AMD heatsink.

shutup!

the first 2 werent bumps, but updates, i dont bump my post 2 times within 5 minutes of posting.

everything i have ever seen you say is negative (unless it is for ati).

hey, my heatsink didnt come with a manual sry, i got it on, but need easiest way to get off. if you read the original question, i searched, and it hadnt been talked about, so i changed it when i realized i had a different problem.

the last one i bumped cuz i changed it look at my edit times, and then correlate the bump, it works out how does that sound?

try sticking on a 80mm, might lower your temps. I just use a couple a flat head screw driver and stick it between the clip and the thing holding the cpu, I turn it and in pop it right off.

I just replaced my heatsink a few hours ago, here's how.

I used one screwdriver to press down on the clip and another to push the clip out from the -can't remember what the thing is called- it worked pretty well. Remember to do the easy side first, for me there was a bigger clip on the side facing the psu. BTW the computer was laying down, I didnøt bother to pull out the motherboard or psu.

Good luck and be careful out there.
