HELP!!! how to get deals at Office Max Hawaii???

If you look at many/most/all rebates, the fine print has different valid purchase dates for HI and Alaska. Thing is they sell out prior to these dates as mainland US advertises earlier. Local OM advertisement flyer is anemic compared with national one.

Any ideas?

Have a buddy on the mainland do it for you. I built a computer for my cousin out in Hawaii and even with shipping it was a good $200 less than anything comparable out there.

The simple solution with OfficeMax is to buy the item before the sale starts. Then return/repurchase using their pricematch guarantee. Even on the mainland, most of OfficeMax's hot deals are nothing more than a bait and switch scam. They almost never have the item available once the sale starts. Try to buy the current WD 120gb harddrive and you will see the type of merchant they are.It is a little more work on your part to make two trips but it is the only way to beat them at their own game
