Setup:
MSI K7T Turbo
Duron 700 (unlocked)
TaiSol HS/fan

After booting fine and checking CPU/System temps (is 37-38C too hot for an idle temp? (BIOS only running))... I pushed the FSB up to 132 and rebooted. No post. Now how do I undo my changes tot he BIOS if I can't get back to it? Flush the battery? If so, how?

Thanks for any help!

There should be a jumper on the mobo to clear the cmos. put the jumper across appropriate pins for a couple of seconds and the put it back to their original position before restarting.

If you have an ATX power supply be sure to unplug the power supply before moving the jumper or shorting CMOS voltage by other means, otherwise you may be shorting the 5v keep-alive voltage.

Refer to your motherboard manual. It should tell you how to clear the BIOS to default.

Theres a cute little trick that has worked for my soyo and now my abit, turn the power on while holding the INSERT key, it will post your processor's default settings without undoing all the other changes you made.

I have posted this before ...and it works like a champ for my MSI Pro 2.
Warcon almost has it ...but on the MSI hold down control & insert with one hand ...and hit the reset button on the case. When you hear the beep, start hitting the delete key. You will go back to the bios, and most of the time the only thing needing to be reset will be the CPU settings. I say almost...cause I have done this trick many, many times ...and only one time did I have to reset other parts of the bios.

Good luck...

Never had a MicroStar board before. Thanks for the info, just in case I need to work(play) on one.
