Get a bootdisk from bootdisk.com.
Boot up using your floppy drive.
FDISK and format your drive if you haven't already.
Do a SYS C:
Copy over all the files on the floppy to the hard drive.
Put in your CD-ROM drive (with no CD inside).
Your system should now boot up from the hard drive. If not, you did something wrong above.
You should now be able to access your CD-ROM from DOS. If not, your drive may require special drivers.
Install Windows.
Delete all the files you copied from the bootdisk except IO.SYS, MSDOS.SYS, and COMMAND.COM.
