Help hosting DiabloII (TCP/IP) behind an SMC barricade

I have the 4 port barricade router for my home network using dial-up. Whenever I try to host a TCP/IP game all I see is my generic IP 192.168.xxx.xxx

Even when I use my "real" ip, my friend can not connect to the game. So it gets worse... he is using ICS, and when he hosts a game I can not connect to it. I'm a bit more technically savy than he, so I was hoping I could just do something on my end.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

note: we have also already tried b.net to no avail. We can both connect to games, but not to the same games. The funny thing is, we both use the same ISP and only live about 12 mi apart. just different dial-ups. go figure.

I haven't set up my SMC for it yet ... but I think that port forwarding is what you're lookin' for ...

yes, I have set up port forwarding for use with other applications. The question is... which ports for diabloII... Is there a way that I can tell?

edit: thanks for the info billy... blizzard seems to confirm this, I just need to figure out how to do it on the SMC now.

I actually got a reply back from blizzard within the hour!!

It seems that I need to open ports 6112-6119 and 4000. Is there a way that I can do this in a single step with the SMC7004BR??

Please help.
