Jesus, Jelly, I think that's a pretty naive version of why it takes a two family income to survive. It ain't taxes.

If she respects your opinions and don't punihs you for disagreeing with her, then I don't see a problem. Teachers and professors have their own opinions on things as well When their opinions agree with those of the majority (that would be the capitalists in USA) people just don't pay any attention to it. But if a professor dares to have a disagreeing opinion (like if he's a socialist), people start to scream how stupid he is and how he tries to brainwash his students.

Like it or not, capitalism is not the perfect system. Neither is communism or socialism (well, communism might be if we were perfect humans, but we are not nor will we ever be. That's why communism fails. It ignores the mentality of humans). Just because someone believes in one of those three doesn't make him any more stupid.

Beamer, is it? Taxation takes directly from us. Bloated, intrusive, giveaway government increases costs for all of us. Both put pressure on families beginning a few decades back and that in part forced both parents into the workplace.

Or do you want me to believe it was all Donald Trump's fault?

you can "survive" on a single income. its just not as comfortable.

just freakin ban women from the work place
Why would you endorse that? They have a perfect right to work just as men. But going "back to 50s" as you say is the key to understanding what happened during the 20th century Fall.

Capitalism: It may not be perfect, but it's the best system we've come up with so far. I fully accept the points made by the naysayers in this thread, but again, capitalism is better than anything else out there. Maybe someday things will change, when someone finds something better.
