help, help me please, router and winxp problem!

I just bought a D-link router and tried to install but seem like no luck. I got window xp and running DSL modem, after I config the router my internet is not working. I can ping to itself and other computers but not using internet explorer. Anyone have any idea to sovle this problem, please help.
