help help help with my new USB keyboard

Hi Guys: just bought this new belkin usb keyboard to plugged it on an asus P2F bios 1013.a pentiumIII 750MH.win2k with last service pack...but..no way to power on using the space bar . This works just fine if I use the good old PS2 keyboard. Can any one here help me out on this...pliss??

(The usb ports works just fine with the mouse..and the keyboard works just fine but no way to power on with the spacebar). I also got
this yellow !..

It will only work if your BIOS supports the option of a USB keyboard. The USB requires power to work, therefore for it to work the computer must be on. You see the irony of it? Unless your mobo can support a USB keyboard in your BIOS, that is another story.
