*HELP*having a little issue with an exe......*UPDATE*

i have this program that refuses to run under win2k and xp. it wont run under xp even if i use the compatibility modes, it runs fine under win 98 though. i dont have a win 98 cd and no cdr's left. so is there a way i can run this thing under xp or 2k?

*Edit: ok my friend says it's a 16 bit app, so is there anyway for me to run this thing without having to install win 98?

its probably trying to link some dll that was on win98, figure out which ones and copy them and try. also there are some system api calls that only work on win9x and not on nt and vice versa you are fubared if thats whats going on.

It's probably trying to use some part of DOS that is only emulated, hence, you're screwed
