HELP GUYS! I finally decided to get a game system. XBOX or GAMECUBE?

I would have said X-box had you asked me a month ago, but Square anounced that they would start developing for GC. This would make it a no brainer for me.
GC all the way!
 
Forget both of them. Get a PS2. That is the system that is best, especially now that companies are learning how to use the 2nd and 3rd processors.

I think you're talking about the additonal pixel shaders or something? But yeah, I think I'd get a PS2 to actually play games at this point in time, or an X-Box for coolness.

A Gamecube? Yeah, right?

In my oppinion, the PS2. As for those systems you mentioned, the only one of 'em I've seen is the X-Box as it's just been released here in europe. GameCube first comes out in may. But the only game I'm really interested in so far for X-Box is DOA3 as 2 prolly is my fave fighting game.
 
IMO Nintendo's last great console was the SNES. The N64 only had a handful of good games and was clearly shadowed by the PSX.
I feel sorry for Nintendo. I used to love them (a lot) but unless they pull their act together I don't think they will last much longer in this competative market.
Oh well, there is always emulators...

Sometimes i still go back and play good old SNES (like today!)

xbox was my choice but research the games for each system and pick the one that has the most games you like
 
This topic has been beaten to death like no other.

Look at the games, see what you like, buy the console. For me, it turned out to be the XBOX, system-link halo is unbelievably fun

Xbox controller is suck
Gamecube controller is suck
PS2 controller is kinda suck
Japanese Saturn Controller is best

but, yeah, go with Xbox. Of if you're craving space, go with the cube.
