I am of the firm belief that this problem can be fixed.

Now I know that sounds just weird (and probably wrong). Please make it better while keeping its formality.

(Oh, and "grammar" 😉)

OK I am embarassed at that all too common mistake.

Are there any other suggestions?

This is like an opening to a persuasive speech, and "I firmly believe..." doesn't sound too good.

I hold firmly to my belief that this problem can be corrected.

This sounds the best, it just fits.

That sounds awkward. There are two prepositional phrases in a row.

I only see 1? 😕

Perhaps you have something better? If you do, please share.

My exact language would depend on the problem and possibly my ideas about solving it.

Based on what is here though:
I am confident this problem can be solved.

Lay the smack down on me homes, we can fix this sh!t yo!

You want fix? I get you fix. Good, yes?

Ahem, I've always preferred including "that" in my wording. It holds more power when spoken.

EDIT: As in, "I believe that this problem can be fixed." Unless you are looking for an alternative to "problem" or "fixed," I think you've got your winner.

 Puts more emphasis on the situation.
