HELP - Gigabit Router -> Gigabit Router?

So I've just finished wiring up my new home with some CAT5e so that I can put my gigabit router in a central location and forget all this Wi-Fi interference junk.

Here's where I need some advice: I have my gigabit router (D-Link DGL-4300) feeding a single ethernet line from port 1 into my living room where my Xbox 360 and PS3 sit. From that single line, I would like to split that signal so that both my PS3 and 360 have internet access, yet maintain gigabit network speeds for streaming media. What is the best way to do this?

I had originally thought I would just go pickup a gigabit access point that has 4 wired ports--but I've yet to find one that even exists. So my only thought now is to just buy another gigabit router (router B) and plug it in behind my TV fed from port 1 on router A.

Will this work easily? What do I have to watch out for? Any routers better for this than others? Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks!

Sounds like you just need a switch. E.g. DGS-2208. Connect it to the router on any port.

That's why I love this forum....that's exactly what I need :). My live-and-learn approach to technology has never brought me across switches before so I've never really known what they are--until now. Thanks!

Access Points do not come with 100Mb/sec. swtich either, there is no good reason to combine a stand alone Access Point with a Switch.
