Help getting out dirt/mud stains on a yellow shirt?

I've tried yelling at it, stomping on it and even spitting on it. Nothing works!


Buh seriously. I think the stains are pretty set (read: old) but I was wondering if there was anything I could do anyways to get them out of there. I heard of using dish detergent (NOT dishwasher detergent) but I'm not sure how I feel about this.

Seriously, I am stupid and do not know anything about laundry.

Soak the stain for 2-3 days with Shout Action Gel that you've scrubbed with a stiff brush.

Wash with a quality laundry detergent and Clorox II Color-safe bleach

Dry on the appropriate heat setting in the dryer, OR, hang it to dry.

Burn in a fire because those stains ain't NEVER comin out...

Use an enzyme based pre-soak and let it soak over night.

Just keep wearing it and washing it. In about 5 years, it will be hardly noticable.
