I've been trying to get this wireless USB adapter to work on a Dell Latitude C600 running Win XP SP2. My router is a Linksys WRT54G, set to mixed B and G mode.
I installed the latest driver from Linksys. However when trying to connect to my network it just says the network is out of range. The router is 5 feet away and the wireless works fine on it. I've got the TCP settings set to automatic on the computer and verified the router will hand out enough DCHP addresses. I restarted, used ipconfig/release, windows wireless connection "repair" utility, and disabled the firewall. It just doesn't get to the login part of the handshake with the router, errors out before that point.
I tried Linksys live chat but they were clueless.
Thanks for any ideas.
