help: ga-7vrx and ms optical mouse problem.

i have just built a athlon xp 1700+ using ga-7vrx mobo.. everything works fine except my ms optical mouse.. the problem occurs when i turn my computer off.. everything gets shut down except the mouse, as the red light on the mouse still glowing after the computer is completely shut down.. the mouse i'm using is a ms optical mouse and i plugged my mouse in the ps/2 mouse port.. did i miss a bios config that causing the mouse not getting shut down?
