What's wrong with IE7? Why use Opera or FF? What is the advantage?

Opera and Firefox render valid html/xhtml correctly.

Why should I have to change my browser for FuseTalk?

See above. What does that mean? IE7 doesn't work with xhtml?

Firefox has extensions. Plus I couldn't live without firefox's search and spell check. Also IE didn't even have tabbed browsing or a built in search bar until IE7. By that time I was already hooked to FF anyway.

They aren't? I haven't noticed anything wrong with the rendering in my FF.

So does Brittney Spears.

Extensions for what? I guess I just don't get it. Other than the rabid, generic hatred of MS, why run another browser? I've tried FF. I hated it. I'll admit I've never tried Opera so I have no idea how that interface works...

But still. Why do so many people use these other browsers? What is the advantage?

I use extensions for a number of reasons. I have a browser-integrated FTPclient, browser-integrated G-mail checker, an awesome web developer tool, ab blocker, in-browser EXIF viewer and many more. There are extensions for just about everything.

The fact you call them 'other browsers' implies you think everyone should use IE by default. Why should they do that, other than unquestioning belief in the superiority of Microsoft?

I started using FF in the days of IE6 for tabbed browsing. IE7 has tabbed browsing too (woop de do) but FF now has adblock, flashblock, greasemonkey, firebug, etc etc. They are good. I use them. Why would I use IE?

Also, as someone who does a lot of web work, I can tell you Firefox renders code more correctly. If more people used FF it would make my job easier.

I dont hate MS, but i see the value of FF. Hands down, it is the better browser. Im not surprised you resist change, even if its OBVIOUSLY the better option. Your philosophy: Change == bad.
