Help for picking card!!!

Hey guys, I recently inherited a gateway DX4300-15e desktop and I'm really looking forward to upgrading it, however it's seems like I only have a 300w PS. I don't know much about this computer and I was wondering what is the best video card in the market that is compatible with my PS. Another thing is what is the highest PS i can upgrade up to?

Nvidia GTX 750ti and get a decent 450W PS

the obvious choice here is an Nvidia GTX 750ti. the best performing card that doesn't require external power connectors.

As far as upgrading the power supply.....it would depend on how much length is available but you could more than likely get up to the 750-800 range in normal dimensions. (though you woulnd't need that much power for the 750ti)

I'd say your best best is to pick up a power-sipping GTX 750 Ti, one that doesn't require a 6-pin PCI-E power connector.
