Machine seems to run OK, but constantly on the hot side.
Temps at idle is about 120-125F.
Under load can get to 145-150F
No heat sink fan(no room) so how can I bring these temps down to a safer level?

if that thing doesnt have a fan on the heatsink then that would seem to be a problem. from what i could find online its a sff that uses a 3ghz p4 processor. notorious for producing massive amounts of heat

No I haven't. Just got off the floor after popping the cover and not seeing what I expected.
First fanless heat sink I've seen. Just the intake fan blowing through.
Will make use of your link now though.
Thanks for the response.

All copper fins running front-to-back. Intake fan blowing straight through them with the hard drive directly above.
Opening the case doesn't help any.
New coat of Arctic Silver 5 doesn't help, either.

can you take a pic of the inside?

is there some kind of fan shroud?

oh and another thought. if its an old fan check to make sure its actually spinning. maybe it would need replacing. also take a look in the bios and see if theres any voltage settings. probably wont be but, maybe you can try to lower it w/ a 3rd party app.
