Just a reminder? If you haven?t already, be sure to check out http://xp-refresh.net and learn about the refresh rate limitations in Windows XP and how you can help get Microsoft to fix them in the next release of Windows.

I just finished a game of Half-Life with 100Hz refresh rate (1024X768X32) There is a fundamental error in the article.

If you get RivaTuner and run the 60Hz fix with detonatorXP drivers (23.12 or older) you will

get max. refresh rate even when display mode switches (D3D or OpenGL)

While the fellow who wrote the article may say "don't let anyone tell you it is a driver issue" I am here to tell you that you CAN

have your cake and eat it too.

Doubt it? here is a photo of my screen with monitor refresh rate display and half-life

edit: I had to use a camera to get the "screenie" because the screen-shots will not capture the monitor's settings display (monitor generated, not software generated)

When the guy says you have to manually configure each seperate refresh rate for each display mode, he is full of poopies...... you don't!

Everyone wants to be some sort of "hero" and slay the M$ dragon...... Jousting with windmills is more like it.
