Help finding a 19in monitor

My Sony GDM400ps is slowly dieing so I am looking to replace it soon. I was looking for another 19in. with dual inputs is a must and was looking around and couldn;t find anything really, I didn;t look to hard either 😉

Does the fact that your current Sony is dying mean that you don't want a new one? If not then I would recommend this one. I don't have it myself, but I've got a monitor based on the same tube and it seems to work pretty well.

reboos, if you're looking not to spend "too" much have a look at the G400 from Sony, I using one right now. If you're on more of a budget, the NEC FE950+ is an excellent monitor for it's price. Hope this helps 🙂

I am also up in the air on this. So far like a Hitachi, Phillips, and Sony 19" for under $300. Found the G400 at local Sams for $300 that seems like a good deal to me so leaning that way. Also heard good things about Samsung monitors.

Zim,

The 955DF is a good shadow mask monitor.

However, my experience and what I hear from many others is that once you have an apperture grille CRT monitor, you don't want to go back. Since reboos wants a monitor with dual inputs, he's almost certainly going to buy a higher-end AG CRT.

I somewhat feel the same way about LCDs. Although I don't own one myself due to the cost, I figure that once I purchase an LCD, I'll be hooked.
