HELP FAST!!!!! How can you tell if someone is using a program to bid on E-Bay and how can you counter it!!!!!!

Just what it says! There are two hours left on an auction I want, and I suspect one of the bidders is using a program to place his bid. If I wait till the last minute to place my final bid, can a program over bid me? What can I do? I don't mind losing an auction by a long shot, but .05 cents gets me!

Can't you just proxy bid? There's also some sites out there that snipe for the lazy.

You bid the exact maximum that you would pay. Down to the last cent. Or use the program.

uh, heres a thought: pay more.

just put in max what youre willing to pay. if you dont win, oh well.
