PROBLEM FIXED IM UP AND RUNNING

So I bought a 460W Enermax powersupply, came home, plugged it in and NADA. so im like Holy bejesus, im screwed. Swap the CPU w/ my brothers computer and nothing so IT HAS TO BE THE MOBO. I call Asus only so they can tell me that they're busy, they'll call later. im like great, at this rate im down for 2-3 weekds. I can't afford that w/ school.
I bought my parts from a local shop, a small shop...nothing big. They give you like 15 days exchange and then the warranty with manufacturer. I look at the receipt and guess what, I'm on Day 16!!!! NOOOO.
What the heck, maybe If go there they might make an exception. I went, the guy was nice, i told him look, school started and i can't loose 3 weeks in RMA process. he told me he'll check the MOBO and if its shot, he'll exchange it and surely enough, same clicking sound.
Got a new MOBO and im up and running w/ the new Enermanx 460, should be plenty now :).

BTW, CPU is at 30C idle w/ Xp120(pretty darn good for a prescot) and panaflow fan. NOW is it ok to plug the panaflow to the MoBo. i have enermax 460W PSU.

another question. Why is the temp to constant now. i mean its like 30 deg all the time. doesnt go up and down

Thanks for all your help guys, really appriciate the effort, A great place to be at :)

Thanks again

Glad ya got it going. It's fine to plug the CPU fan in to the motherboard fan header, but I wouldn't plug a bunch of large case fans in as it puts extra strain on the motherboard, so it's best to plug case fans directly in to the PSU. Yeah, the 460w enermax should last you a while.

One fan only to be on the safe side. 120mms draw a lot and m/b have a small limit on how much can be plugged in.

Happy it's resolved. Nice to read good news for a change. :)

Alright, im so relieved. the best part is that they exchanged it for a new one :).
i plugged the panaflow 120mm to the PSU, just in case. don't wanna take any more chances.
Now im scared to OC but I should be fine i think, Stock idle temp right now is 32 for a prescott, which i think is pretty good. will tinker around later.
