Help extend wireless signal

Is there a device that wirelessly picks up my main routers signal on one side of the house and boosts it if I place the device on the other side of the house? Or does the device need to be hardwired? Or do I need a powerline setup from one of the house to the other? I can't do a cable run from one side to the other to boost my signal on one end of the house.

Edit: Nvmd, it appears there are products I can plug into that will do this task. Mods can close this.

They are called wireless extenders and should only be used as a last resort as they cut your bandwidth by at least half. A good powerline adapter and Access Point is a better option.
