help!! errors popping up and computer rebooting!!!

my computer spec:
AMD 3200+ Winchester
Abit AN8
1 GB Kingston Value Ram
MSI RX300 SE
Maxtor 160 GB SATA

i have a big problem with my computer. whenever i open songs, movie or playing games, my computer will pop up errors (the one with send, don't send), or sometimes it came out with a blue screen then reboot after that. sometimes when i switch on my computer, in the bios page, it came out with the message: please reset your CPU frequency, AND, system is running in safe mode, please check your CMOS setup, AND, system is running in fail-safe state, please check your CMOS setup.

izit there's problem with my CPU, or my motherboard? or izit my video card is clashing with my motherboard?

but i used the same video card in my ASUS A8N-SLi, but there's no problem with it. i exchanged the RAM with my brother's and it was still NOT ok. then i switched the power supply and HDD as well, and the problem is still occuring. anythin i can do to solve the problem?

anyone can help me?
 
Is this a recent problem? Has the computer ever worked ok?

Make sure the CPU FSB and multiplier settings are correct in BIOS
 
the computer worked well for about very short time...
everything is ok in the BIOS.
it only happened since a month ago...

Try resetting your CMOS to defaults!
 
i set everything to default, but it still came out check your CMOS setup...
and errors still popped up or even restart in windows...
 
1) what brand and model of power supply are you using, since it sounds most likely to be a hardware problem

2) what antivirus and firewall software are you using
 
try flashing the BIOS? If it's a hardware problem, your Powersupply is overvolting, or you've got some motherboard shorts.
 
wat do u mean by motherboard shorts?
It was ok first, then only it started to be faulty. i think anything with sound and video will make it hang, reboot or errors popping up.
i'm currently using one emaster (unbranded) one, but i switched it with Cooler Master 430W, it still behaves faulty.
how do i check whether my motherboard is with defect?
 
actually that was my brother's computer.
i'm using ASUS A8N-SLi. I switched my Cooler Master power supply over (which works well in mine), but it is still faulty.
then i switched my HDD over, but it is still faulty. everything seems to work well in my computer, but not in that computer.
i overclocked my computer well, but i cant overclock that motherboard (Abit AN8), which i thought it would be a better overclocking board. but it failed even i overclock to 210 x 10, with my HT freq down to 4x, Ram set at 333MHz.
 
yeah, I'd bet it's the motherboard. get a friend/local computer shop to run a hardware diagnostic to be sure though, if there's anyone near you who's able.
