Oh man, oh man. I built 2 systems in the summer with a via apollo chipset. I don't remember whether or not i installed them. What do they do? BTW, they have win98 2nd ed. Also, one has some problems with shutting down (it hangs on the screen before), and it ALWAYS freezes when burning a CD with adaptec. Thanks.

just running the exe might not do it...might just give you a flase sense of accomplishment...make sure they're actually installed by going under device drivers and checking...i had to manually install my ide busmaster drivers and agp drivers

Wow, you havnt install the via4in1's yet? How do you even do anything on yer system? LOL, your fps in games must be hella low. You need those drivers man, they are the most crucial drivers for the system. And uhhh, that system shutdown problem has nothing to do with via drivers. That is a common Windows98se problem. Hit the windows update button under tools in IE. And dl the Patch. Its called like Shutdown Suplament.
