help! digicam not working!

My digicam (nikon coolpix 775) won't detect my non-nikon 128 mb memory card! And it won't detect its own nikon branded memory card! There is no access to firmware on the camera! I assume its something wrong with the compact flash port on the camera..

ANyone else have this problem?

ANyone can help me?

Or should i call nikon?

Your guess is as good as mine. Make sure all settings are correct. Try to reformat the card if possible. Check card slot for lint, dirt, bent pins, etc.

Otherwise it sounds like it chit the bed.
 
Try and format the card with your digital camera...

My Kodak camera wont detect certain brands of CF cards also, but yours should definitely work with a Nikon card...

If formatting doesnt work, call Nikon and maybe RMA it...

It can't format if it can't detect...

Both Cards worked fine before something happened (no idea..)

Oh and what does RMA mean?
