HELP! - Diamond Member, yells, curses and insults members !!!

Please help get this jerk SnapIT banned - His postings in my help thread were some of the most rude, innappropriate and offensive I have ever seen. Not to mention that he has no place in the thread, and was completely unprovoked. If he is a Diamond Member in this forum and has made it this long, he should know better. If he does not he should be banned because he has no idea how to conduct himself in such a community. He makes the entire forum look bad.

I call upon the good and active members of this community to police it. So many good people here have tried so long to build a good community of members. People like this are a cancer in the body of Anandtech! :|
 
That is SnapIt, and while he is blunt, he has a point. If you have critical info on a hard drive, back it up or prepare for the worst.
 
I know who he is, and I know what he said. If you read thoroughly, you would see that was the backup drive.
That is irrelevent. Is he my mother? It was an appropriately posted assistance request in the right forum.
He provided no help, but came into the thread to scold, insult, yell and CURSE.
That is unacceptable no matter who you are, but in that situation it is outragious.
If you would condone such behavior, I am shocked you would call yourself a lifer and part this community if you would condone its soiling.

Dude, why don't you go back and read his thread, where he insults me, calls me an idiot, a moron, a i love you, says Sh|t, FvCk, etc. etc. over several posts - all becuase he doesn't like people posting for help?

Are you kidding? You tell me to have a drink. You must be sipping on what he is drunk on...
 
Wait? You guys are saying it's okay for someone to swear at another user just because they're a diamond member and are known to be blunt? Being rude and saying it's stupid not to have a backup is one thing, but nobody should be allowed to go as far as his comments (which aside from the swearing include references to being gay, which is a no-no here). Other people get banned for less, so should he. Other people don't get warnings, neither should he.
 
Thank god there are some good and sane people in this community. And it is great there is a wise mod.
