I have an OEM version of Windows 2000 and never received a CD or boot disks.
Windows is installed on D drive which I think is a piece of C drive.
My question is how do I make a set of boot disks.
I've tried going Start/Run
d:\bootdisk\makeboot a:
But all I get is the following message
d:\bootdisk is not accessible
this folder was moved or removed.

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Browse the CD-Rom and look for a directory called bootsidks....read the text file for instructions.

go here www.bootdisk.com.

make sure you download the software in the utilities section which lets you write the disc images to your floppies :)

enjoy - BTW, you need 4 floppies to create win2000 boot discs

her2000, thats an interesting idea, maybe you could get them 4 files and just extract them all to it, if your good at making bootable cds, can you write a good how to? and pm me the location, also that'd be cool cause then i could make the disks, and slip in my udma66 controller info. . . well gonna shut down and play with another OS
