Just set up a home netowrk and have a question.
First of all I have a cable modem plugged into my SMC wired router. Then I have the SMC router plugged into a wireless SMC router located in another room. If I plug my laptop up to the wired router I can get to the internet fine. But if I put in my pcmcia card and try to acces the internet wirelessly, it doesn't work. I know it sees the wireless router because I can get into the wireless router's configuration.
The only way I can access the internet is to manually enter the DNS server's, etc.
Is this normal or is there a way to leave all of the DNS, etc. automatic?
