HELP! Computer wont boot !

I finished upgrading/building a computer for a friend but when I turned on the power.

The hard drive, fans, etc. are working fine, then my monitor gives me the "suspend message" and goes in suspend mode. I do not hear any of the normal beeps nothing else happens and it 'freezes'

I am pretty sure it is my processor or Sloket (Maybe DOA?) but anyways...

Could any one give me some ideas?

The system:
ABIT BX6 Revision 2.0
MS-6909 Master Converter Card
Pentium 3 700 FC-PGA
Enlight 250 watt. Power Supply
128 MB RAM (Infineon)
Diamond MX300
Creative Labs GTS 2 64 MB
Western Digital Expert 18 Gig HD.
Generic 24X CD-Rom
Dlink nic

You try turning off the suspend mode on the BIOS?
(Or em I thinking of something else?)

I'm guessing your not getting a POST.

Before you try the clean install, clear your CMOS first. If that doesnt work, go ahead with the clean install and one component at a time procedure 🙂

check to see if any cables are flipped, some IDE cables can go in either way, and the system wont boot when they are upside down 🙂....happened to me before 🙂
