:( Hey guys, i need some help here. Alright, here we go!
I was wanting to do some overclocking, i started off with putting 2 blue orbs on my voodoo5 w/ some arctic silver. Put both on without a problem and it ran great. Next i decided to do some work on the processor. Its a "Classic" Athlon 700mhz .18, I took the casing/heatsink off without any problems. Next, I cleaned off the stock thermal compound with rubbing alcohol. Then i applied Arctic Silver directly on the processor and the L2 cache chips. I then attached a AlphaK7125 Heatsink w/ Dual Delta Fans. Put it back in the machine without it being overclocked and NOTHING!!! happens..

No signal to Monitor. No weird Beeps/Alarms!..
I have tried checking the video by changing it with another card... and still nothing appears on the monitor.
I have also Cleared the Cmos..
Re-seated the processor many times...
Disconnecting Every compenent that isnt needed for minimal boot.. (disconnected SoundCard, HD's, Network, and Cdroms)
I know the Hd's should be connected but.. im looking for just a video signal first... and im getting NOTHING!! please help!
Is the processor dead?
it still becomes pretty HOT! when its in there!
If you have a guess/know what could possibly be wrong please respond because im at a loss here...!

Thanx in Advance

Speaking from experience...the last time something like that happened to me...there was either mother board damage, or damage to the power supply...i had the exact same symptoms you have

Well, The powersupply seems to be working fine, all fans come online, fans on/off the motherboard, cdroms and everything else power up.
I didnt do anything to the Motherboard for it to screw up. I just took the Casing off the Processor.. No Damage that i can see happened to it. looks perfect and the casing came off without any type of pressure that could damage it.
I cant even tell what the problem is because no signal is reaching the monitor. I dont wanna throw out another $100+ for another processor if theres a chance it isnt the problem.

What should i look for or do to troubleshoot?

I recently had a computer that i did a MB upgrade on and everything was working fine then I attached another hd and couldnt even get the board to post just like your having. No beeps, no video. The fans would all come on and the only way to get the comp to shut off was to hit the switch on the power supply itself. Anyways to make a long story short after trying everything under the sun to get this board to post basically all the same things you did. I put in a new powersupply and it worked perfect. Hope you get it figured out I know what its like to do a simple upgrade and have everything go haywire for no apparent reason.

Arctic silver ISConductive. You may have shorted out your cache chips. clean your cache chips thoughly with rubbing alcohol.
