Help choosing RAM. On a budget here!

I ordered a P4 2.8C, and an Aopen AX4SPE-Max mobo. I would like to get to over the 3 ghz barrier by OCing, but I need help choosing RAM that will allow this. I want 2x512mb, for under $180 shipped. Is this do-able?

To OC a 2.8C to 3.0 You should be ok with Kingston Value Ram.

Would you recommend a higher quality RAM and just go with 512mb instead for right now? I'm just going to be gaming with it until the summer. Then I'll start doing web dev on it.

I second the KVR. It's always worked well for me. Depending on how much devel you'll be doing, I'd seriously consider getting the gig of RAM. But you can always buy the 512 now, and add to it later if you think you would benefit.

I bought 1 gig of Corsair PC-4400. Splurge? I think so!

I got a good deal on it though. $325 Shipped.
