Help choosing case

Hello, I know you guys get a lot of these, sorry. :) I have been looking through other threads of case suggestions, but I was looking for a bit of advice, also have a few questions.

First off, I am looking to water cool. This isn't my first build, but it is my first high end as well as water cooling. I'd definitely would like it to be full ATX or bigger, I love the idea of removable filters, as i hate dusting, and also looking for some of the typical stuff: side window, back plate cable management, ect ect, you know, stuff to help make it look pretty.

Other than that, not really any requirements from a case, even the above is "optional", but nothing is a must. Noise isn't a factor, liquid cooling so there shouldn't be much anyways. Also, the outside doesn't need to be anything "special" i kinda like sleek and sexy. :)

So, the top of my list so far from research is:
Obsidian 800D
ThermalTake gt lvl 10
Rosewill blackhawk ultra
silverstone (i think) tj07, to be honest, the TJ11 would be an insta-buy at a couple hundred cheaper. I could probably afford if i push my build timeline back a couple months lol. I am very attracted to the 90 degree rotation.

Thats just the top of my list, I'm definitely open to any suggestions. My max price is probably 300, though that's not set in stone.

I know i said i had questions, but now i can't remember them, so i'll update when i remember.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Thanks for the suggestion! Exactly why I posted here, tbh, i haven't come across NZXT yet in my research.

The black version of that is very sexy indeed. Definitely has a lot of features I'm looking for with the filters, space and what not, and love the easy configuring with the drive bays.

Still about a month or so from starting the build, but this is certainly a fore runner.

One question that comes to mind: With respect to water-cooling, what would the holes on the back be used for? externally mounted equipment?

thanks again

p.s. poor Joan, they dwarf her with those full cases lol.

Yes, typically externally mounted radiators, but you can externally mount everything in a WC'ing loop---except the blocks, of course. Those holes are for the tubing to pass through into/out of the case.

if you like the 90 degree rotation and are looking for ease of install (though not a mainstream case by any means) the azza genesis 9000. It actually is optional to which direction you put the mb in and has room for 1 480mm rad in the roof and a couple 240's in the bottom if you mount em right. It also comes in at 179 on the egg. Personally though, I would mod the sides for a wicked big window and remove a bunch of the 5.25 slots and put a rad in the front too.

Thanks for the suggestion. :) Definately intrigued by it. TBH i would definitely go with a big window on the side as well, but haven't the slightest clue of where to start at that. Continuing to plan my system out while I save up until AMD announces their new line and the benchmarks come in.

Thanks again for the suggestion!
