Help choosing between two PCP&C PSU's

Need some help selecting between two PCP&C psu?s ? the Silencer 470ATX and the Turbo-Cool 510 SLI. I?m building the following rig:

ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe
AMD Athlon64 3000+
1GB DDR400 CL2 (probably corsair)
2x 200GB Seagate SATA drives (RAID 0)
2x 250GB Western Digital SATA drives (RAID 0)
2 x GForce 6800GT 256MB
NEC ND-3520A (DVD DL)
Lite-On Combo Drive (CD Burner, DVD ROM)

The 12V for the 470w is 28a with a price of $99 with a 3 year warranty. The 12v for the 510 is 34a/38a with a price of @239 with a 5 year warranty. Also, I?d like the psu as quiet as possible (hence my interest in the 470). Thanks in advance!

easy decision if you want as quiet as possible. stay away from the turbo-cool 510. while reasonable at idle speeds, when the fan speeds up it's pretty loud.

For about 20 bucks more you can get them to add a quiet fan to the 510 SLI, for that rig I'd do w/ the 510 SLI unit to be safe. the 470 is a great unit but youve got 2 6800GT's and a bunch of other power hungry stuff and to be safe you should go w/ the 510

Both of these statements are false. PCP&C changed the fan they are using in the Turbo-Cool 510 series. It is more quite now. In just about every thread about PCP&C PSUs you will see some one post about how loud they are. These opinions are based on outdated information. Still, it should not considered a quite PSU when compared to those that are specifically built to be quite. Because they have gone to a quiter standard fan, they no longer offer an upgrade to a more quiet fan. I tried to find out if they were now simply building them standard with the upgrade fan or if they were using a different fan altogether. I was unable to get this info.
