Help choosing AMD MB and processor...

I'm looking to upgrade my Gigabyte 7VAXP Ultra and XP 2600+ but I'm lost with all the choices.

I have narrowed the choices of processor down to either a Socket 754 3400+ or a Socket 939 3500+. Can't make up my mind - HELP!

I'm not interested in overclocking - and use it for mostly Photoshop and Games. I do want a big speed bump from what I have though.

I am totally confused on motherboards too - I just want something with all the features but rock solid. Any suggestions?

New Egg has the 'bundle specials' with Socket 939 3400+'s - are they any good usually?

For socket 939 the Soltek SL-K8TPro-939 is a very fast motherboard at stock speeds and has all the features you will need. The manufacturer has a pretty good reputation for producing a solid product. http://www.newegg.com/app/view...=13-180-064&depa=1

If I were in the market for a socket 754 motherboard right now I'd get the DFI LAN Party.

go 939, for upgrade purposes. It is sterting to look like AMD is only going to use 754 for semprons. Plus 939 supports dual channel ram. (woe is me,I just had to buy 754 *sigh*)
