Help choosing a narrow topic for my Research Paper

I need to think of a narrow topic for my main research paper in my ENC1102 class.

Unfortunately I missed the class where we voted on the topic and the class decided on Sex/Sexuality, personally I think it's a pretty lame topic but oh well, I'll live with it.

Anyway, I'm coming up dry with ideas for my topic. I want to do something interesting to write about but I can't think of anything, some people are doing prostitution (too broad on it's own but they are narrowing it down) sex and the media (influences, etc) and homosexuality (again, too broad, but they're narrowing it down.)

Can anyone help me out? Pitch some ideas maybe. :-\
 
A persuasive essay on Anal Sex, YES! I'll even hand out free lube packets when I present the paper. Golden!
 
abnormal is always good. fettishes...hm... how about mucus... like those dudes that buy used tissues off the nets. or panties..
 
Interesting, my research paper is also 40% of my grade, but its not on sex.

If you really need an idea I suggest something related to society. Perhaps how small communities deal with sex stores or porno shops being opened.

Once you investigate that subject you may find it has a LOT of research and source material.

Sexuality is a GREAT topic, since there are simply so many possibilities with it. Remember, the point of the exercise is to do a great research paper, not to become an expert on the subject; feel free to do something completely out in left field so long as you can put it together well and cite legit sources for it.
 
Write the paper on the use of sex as a means of persuading professors to give a good grade.
Then hope that your point gets across.😉

 
Write about polyamory. A lot of people have no idea what it's about, but there's a good bit of information on it. You can also do a compare/contrast between polyamory and polygamy -- because there are huge differences, but also striking similarities.

Actually I was going for an essay on how to convince girls to try anal sex. You could interview various people and see which methods do and do not work. Example:
"You're going to try it some time in your life, right?"
"I guess so."
"I mean everyone tries it once."
"Right."
"And we love eachother right?"
"Yes I love you."
"So if you're going to try it once, why not try it with me?"
"Ok."

Commence.
