For all of those saying XP90.. no.. especially if he's willing to spend the money on the TT Big Typhoon.
I went from a XP90 to the Big Typhoon and my temps dropped from 32c idle w/ XP90 to 27c with the Big Typhoon, and from 44c load with the XP90 to 38c load with the Big Typhoon.
And I don't think you could get any more air on the XP90 than I did since I was using a tornado fan (on a fan controller obviously, that sucker was LOUD at full speed!). And yes I tried using Panaflo fans too.

If you'll pardon the pun, I've never been a Zalman flower... um... fan! However, you gotta hand it to them!

Zalman pulled a rabbit out of their hat with the CNPS 9500 LED CPU coolers! The fan orientation is correct -- pushes the hot air toward the exhaust fans instead of the power supply... And, now they've matched the looks with a *new* VF900-Cu Blue LED VGA cooler... just came out!

Gawd! If I just didn't have this blue cathode/LED obsession right now -- but I do -- so, I'm thinking about buying one of each... 100 bucks! Ching! Ching!

Damn those ppl anyhow! I used to love coolers that looked like Harley cylinders...

Sheesh! Well, I couldn't do it! :)

Ever get that 'gag reflex' going? There I sat, with my finger quivering on the mouse button, ready to buy the Zalman twins, but I chickened out! I guess I hate flower fans more than I thought.

Whew! That was a close one! Instead, I ended up ordering a Tuniq Tower T-120 cooler. It was $57.84 ($48.98 + $8.99 shipping), so that meets the OP's "~$50" criteria. Man, those things hard to find *in stock*!

Anyway, I'll let you know how it works, next week, assuming it doesn't get back-ordered on me...
