If its the same, we're down to the bios.
Have you updated to the latest one yet?

Wow, you should be good to go.

Id try upping your MCH voltage to 1.55 if it isnt already.

I've gotta go to work, i'll try to "brainstorm" all day, and if i come up with anything i'll let ya know.

I know theres a way to stop the pc from rebooting during a BSOD and dump info into a log file that will help shed some light on whats causing the BSOD.

I'll look that up on tonight when i get home.

Ok thanks. the BSOD always returned with the nvidia driver nv4displ.dll. I had an dump file, but could not read it. At the moment i don't have a dump file.

Ok, click start / run and in the runbox type eventvwr

By clicking on system and application on the left in the event viewer window, you can see when errors occurred in the right pane of the window.

Now you'll have to determine which errors coincide with your BSOD's.

Once you figured what error is associated with your BSOD, post here and we'll try to track down whats causing all the trouble.

Once you find once that was "flagged" when you recieved a BSOD, just type the event id number in google search and it shouldnt be too hard to find the cause of the BSOD.

Let me know how it goes.

If for no other reason then to help others in the future when they search for solutions. ;)

Due to lots of testing i haven't been able to respond earlier.

Current status:
Pc tested with the foxconn mb , same errors.
Vga card send to RMA and used a 8600GT card, pc ran Ok.

A new 8800gts had been ordered.
LAst week tuesday i got my pc back. mb used was a new asus p5wdh deluxe.

Note .. my ram (aspeed ddr2-533) seems to be the only ram working on the mb,667 and 800 ram won't let windows install according to my vendor.

It ran ok , till saturday , then i had artifacts in 3d. Sunday after trying to launch a game my pc rebooted.

The minidumpfile showed again the nv4_displ.dll as possible cause.

I am thinking that:

1 my psu can't handle the load
2 or there has to be some issue with the ram and vga?

If it's the psu, which one would be a perfect match for my system?
Do u guys have any idea's hat might be causing this?

N.B. I monitored the vga during this week and it won't run hotter then 64C.
