I was having troubles with my onboard lan, so I installed a pci nic. The new nic (to the system) is working great, however, I am unable to bring up setiqueue. The rest of the website works tho. Has anyone else done this before? and have this problem? If so, what was the cure? 🙂

thanks

Thanks for the replies.

Are you trying to access it from the local machine that setiq is running on or another box? 10 to 1 your ip address changed on the machine. Go to the local box and type http://127.0.0.1😛ort where port is the port it's running on. Also, do an ipconfig on the local box and make sure the ip address is the same as it was before. Are you on a LAN or is this the only machine you have? If it's a LAN are you using DHCP?

I dont know much about SetiQ, but did you disable the onboard nic???
If not, maybe the Q is still trying to use that one!

Just a stab at it!

Yes the ip did change, I am on a lan, using a router. DHCP is enabled. Changed to match the new IP, changed DMZ to match, changed port forwarding to match. Yet, it still refuses to work. I also run a small website off this system, and it works just fine. I just cant access port 5517, even though its open through the router.
Onboard NIC is disabled no effect.

Ok, now I see what your problem is, the same I had when I tried to set up my queue 10 days ago!!

You remember that???

Well, the solution is to disable DHCp on the router and put in static Ip's for all your pc and
then the port forwarding will work! 😀
